Explore The Romantic Oregon Coast Cities

There are Oregon Coast Cities from Astoria on the north coast to Brookings on the south coast.


As you travel along the Pacific Ocean on HWY 101 you will arrive upon many little quaint towns.



The history of some of the towns goes back to the 1800’s. There are so many things to explore in some towns.


I love walking the streets and look at all the different things they have to offer.


I have lived in Oregon all of my life and have been at the coast many, many times. I even lived at the coast for a few years. I still have favorite places that I like to visit.


My father was an avid fisherman so we have been out on the ocean from just about every harbor along the coast.

Things You Will Find At The Coast Cities


 

  • Gift shops that you just can’t stay out of.
  • Art Galleries that have some fabulous works of art
  • Restaurants that make you drool and make you wish you could cook like them
  • Some really quaint and some luxury hotels
  • Entertainment that might surprise you
  • Great beaches to explore


Coastal Cities

The Oregon coast is broke up into 3 sections. They are the Northern Coast, Central Coast and Southern Coast.


Just click on the city name and take a brief tour of what each city has to offer.


The North Coast cities are

Astoria, Warrenton, Seaside, Cannon Beach, Nehalem, Rockaway Beach, Garibaldi, Tillamook and Pacific City. There are some other small towns that I will also try and include.


The Central Coast cities are

Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, Agate Beach, Newport, Waldport, Yachats and Florence with other small towns.


The Southern Coast cities are

Reedsport, Winchester Bay, Coos Bay, North Bend, Bandon, Port Orford, Gold Beach and Brookings.

It is one of the reasons we love the coast. Where else can you find sunsets like this!

I have been many places in the United States when my husband was in the Army and I still think Oregon is the best.

You never know when you go to bed at night what kind of weather you will wake up to.
